After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo de Almagro's Dario Jon got a free kick in the 4th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Romulo Santio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 9th minute of the match Marco Frasco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romulo Santio skillfully saved the ball. Arturo Fresco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Niceto Breogan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Arturo Fresco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romulo Santio made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Alejandro Urdin sent off a good shot on target. Constantino Ponc's late challenge caught a Pico Fútbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constantino Ponc helped the player get up and apologised. Constantino Ponc hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. A collision led to Pico Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Alberto Tulio hit a great ball. Elpidio Eskuin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alejandro Urdin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 37th playminute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elpidio Eskuin to strike the kick off in the second half. Alejandro Urdin took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romulo Santio. Romulo Santio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Romulo Santio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elpidio Eskuin's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. The supporters of San Lorenzo de Almagro booed when Pico Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Urdin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arturo Fresco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Niceto Breogan made a huge save. Ovidio Aguirre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Arturo Fresco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmiro Caetano kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Niceto Breogan made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Arturo Fresco sent off a good shot on target. Elpidio Eskuin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance for a goal. 90 minutes into the match, Arturo Fresco notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Pico Fútbol Club's Niceto Breogan. Niceto Breogan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. San Lorenzo de Almagro's Romulo Santio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Urdin in the 95th minute of play.
