Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Roque Illan kicked off to start the match. Cristo Oton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Chesus in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Packets's goalkeeper Cristo Oton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cipriano Mateo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd match minute, Packets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Lohitzun to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Chesus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Cristo Oton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Corbett's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Arias came free, but Cipriano Mateo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

With a little luck, Packets's Cristo Oton got control of the ball when Nicolas Gelmiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Javier Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Pereyra in the 77th minute of play forced Corbett's goalkeeper Cipriano Mateo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Chesus in the 81st minute of play forced Packets's goalkeeper Cristo Oton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corbett's Cipriano Mateo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Arias in the 93rd minute of play.
