The supporters of Naranja booed when Gnecco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Ovando didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

A collision led to Naranja getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Gustavo Mede hit a great ball. Fausto Clemencin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gnecco 's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
