Luciano Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Tomi in the 4th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, La Bicicletería's goalkeeper Ramiro Oinatz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santos Ortzi. 14 minutes into the game, Alvaro Eztebe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Bicicletería's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Figueroa AFC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Bicicletería fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! After a defensive mix-up in Figueroa AFC's zone, Luciano Cresenciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Navarro came out of the goal and Luciano Cresenciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inocencio Tomi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodolfo Oliverios in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramiro Oinatz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Santos Ortzi took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramiro Oinatz. Ramiro Oinatz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Ruperto Nuxila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luciano Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Luciano Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Tomi in the 40th minute of play. Luciano Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Ezkerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Inocencio Tomi to strike the kick off in the second half. When La Bicicletería's Inocencio Tomi in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Figueroa AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Ramiro Oinatz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santos Ortzi's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Agustin Ezkerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Luciano Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Inocencio Tomi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luciano Navarro was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Figueroa AFC's Domingos Laurgain got a free kick in the 69th minute. Hernan Derwin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to La Bicicletería's Emilio Fernandez getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The supporters of La Bicicletería booed when Figueroa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Senon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 minutes of play, Figueroa AFC's Santos Ortzi made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramiro Oinatz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Inocencio Tomi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Navarro having to interfere. Gerardo Aznar hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. La Bicicletería's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
