With splendid footwork Rene Favila arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 19th minute. Esteban Ciceron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Asteri in the 24th minute of the match. If Anacleto Asteri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Anacleto Asteri put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Esteban Ciceron. Esteban Ciceron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Asteri in the 44th minute of the match. After 45 minutes of play, VITESSE's Anacleto Asteri made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esteban Ciceron was left in no man's land by his defense there! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rene Favila was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anacleto Asteri during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anacleto Asteri kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Haitz in the 55th minute of play forced VITESSE's goalkeeper Anibal Inko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as VITESSE's Anacleto Asteri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Esteban Ciceron. That made the score 2-3 after 56 minutes of play. In the 61st minute, Rene Favila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Frescolar F.C. getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Generoso Haitz hit a great ball. VITESSE's Aquilino Pacifico got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Generoso Haitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute Aquilino Pacifico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Ciceron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anacleto Asteri who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Esteban Ciceron when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 86 minutes into the match, VITESSE's Aquilino Pacifico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteban Ciceron narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 2-5 became the score in the 87th minute when Hermengildo Bartoli elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 91stth minute of the game Hermengildo Bartoli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frescolar F.C.'s Esteban Ciceron was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anacleto Asteri's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Esteban Ciceron skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 96th minute, Anacleto Asteri reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Esteban Ciceron. The goal made the score 2-6. The Frescolar F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. VITESSE were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
