In the 6th minute, Anibal Hever hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atletico Los Polvorines's Aurelio Illan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Los Polvorines from getting a goal against them. Aurelio Illan made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Hector Amato sent off a good shot on target. Hector Amato's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aurelio Illan firmly grabbed it by the left post. Bernabe Goiz came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Los Polvorines's Melquiades Honesto. But to his dismay, Melquiades Honesto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Melquiades Honesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Bernabe Goiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernabe Goiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Honesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of NACHACO FUTBOL CLUB booed when Atletico Los Polvorines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Hever didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elpidio Rexino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Rexino in the 33rd minute of play forced NACHACO FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Bernabe Goiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Aristides Haritz fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NACHACO FUTBOL CLUB's protests and gave Aristides Haritz a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes NACHACO FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Haritz. After a rather tough play, NACHACO FUTBOL CLUB's Lucio Aires got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector Amato made a kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atletico Los Polvorines fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! In the 60th minute there was a penalty for NACHACO FUTBOL CLUB. Narciso Vincente stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aurelio Illan. 1-1. When Anibal Lorencio fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Los Polvorines's protests and gave Anibal Lorencio a yellow card for diving instead. After 63 played minutes Atletico Los Polvorines got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Lorencio. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Los Polvorines's zone, Hector Amato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Illan came out of the goal and Hector Amato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the match, Atletico Los Polvorines's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Domeka came free, but Aurelio Illan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Amato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Illan having to interfere. In the 75th match minute, Atletico Los Polvorines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Hibai to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Amato in the 78th minute of play forced Atletico Los Polvorines's goalkeeper Aurelio Illan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Honesto in the 80th minute of play forced NACHACO FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Bernabe Goiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernabe Goiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Hever in the 82nd minute of play. After 84 played minutes Atletico Los Polvorines got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Hever. 89 minutes into the match, NACHACO FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Hever came free, but Bernabe Goiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Vincente charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Narciso Vincente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for NACHACO FUTBOL CLUB! In the 94th minute there was a penalty for Atletico Los Polvorines. Anacleto Rafel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bernabe Goiz. 1-2. In the 100th minute Hector Amato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Illan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 101 minutes, Lucio Aires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NACHACO FUTBOL CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucio Aires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
