After having played for 9 minutes, Jacinto Bartuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LA ROMA NO!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Bartuelo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. LA ROMA NO!'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Florencio Papo scored to the left of an out of position Carmelo Cisco, making the score, 1-0. Florentino Rutenio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cornelio Ticho. Empedrado's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cornelio Ticho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Beltran in the 22nd minute of the match. Carmelo Cisco made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Moises Hug sent off a good shot on target. Florentino Rutenio kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Empedrado's Cornelio Ticho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Bartuelo in the 39th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacinto Bartuelo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Florencio Papo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Carmelo Cisco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 60 minutes, Jonathan Beltran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LA ROMA NO!'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Beltran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Ticho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Bartuelo in the 84th minute of play forced Empedrado's goalkeeper Cornelio Ticho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jacinto Bartuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prudencio Amato struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Cornelio Ticho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA ROMA NO!. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacinto Bartuelo got free with Cornelio Ticho in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. LA ROMA NO!'s Carmelo Cisco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Papo in the 96th minute of play. LA ROMA NO!'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
