Cornelio Ticho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 20 minutes into the match, Ruben Chale notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Belgrano de Cba's Leonel Su. Leonel Su was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ruben Chale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruben Chale in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonel Su saved Belgrano de Cba from getting behind. In the 34th minute, Enzo Thomas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Florencio Papo hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. If Enzo Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Moises Hug managed to get in a good position for a shot. Empedrado's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Hug was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonel Su breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 48th minute Florencio Papo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Su saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Belgrano de Cba's Enzo Thomas got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonel Su made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Edwardo in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Empedrado eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
