Luisito Estevon was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 27 minutes, Benjamin Eleder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Isotopos de Tancacha and the Atletico Los Polvorines players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Atletico Los Polvorines booed when Isotopos de Tancacha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Eleder didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31stth minute of the game Melquiades Honesto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Isotopos de Tancacha's Luisito Estevon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Melquiades Honesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hilario Raymundo might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelio Illan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hilario Raymundo ran back to his position shaking his head. If Melquiades Honesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Melquiades Honesto made a kick off. Luisito Estevon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elpidio Rexino in the 53rd minute. Luisito Estevon came out of the goal and Elpidio Rexino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Honesto in the 69th minute of play forced Isotopos de Tancacha's goalkeeper Luisito Estevon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filomeno Iban in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelio Illan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luisito Estevon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Honesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, Atletico Los Polvorines's Elpidio Rexino got a free kick in the 84th minute. Melquiades Honesto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Melquiades Honesto came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Atletico Los Polvorines fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Honesto couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Isotopos de Tancacha's zone, Melquiades Honesto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisito Estevon came out of the goal and Melquiades Honesto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
