Remigio Videl came out of the goal and Paulo Ospin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pájaro Negro's Angelino Delfino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Pájaro Negro from getting a goal against them. After 16 played minutes Pájaro Negro got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Ospin. The long shot by Hipolito Clementi in the 16th minute really tested Angelino Delfino's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Pájaro Negro's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Gora came free, but Angelino Delfino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remigio Videl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Ospin, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Sixto Egoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Genaro Gora sped through Pájaro Negro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Angelino Delfino. Thanks to some nice moves Ildefonso Basualdo could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Angelino Delfino however easily saved by the left post. In the 42nd match minute, Pájaro Negro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Flor to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ildefonso Basualdo got free with Angelino Delfino in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Sixto Egoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelino Delfino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sixto Egoi ran back to his position shaking his head. 55 minutes into the match, Pájaro Negro's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Berart came free, but Angelino Delfino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ildefonso Basualdo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sixto Egoi ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Sayveon during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Gora in the 78th minute of play forced Pájaro Negro's goalkeeper Angelino Delfino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of afga booed when Pájaro Negro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Polo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelino Delfino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Gora in the 87th minute of play. Genaro Gora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. afga fully deserved thier win.
