Dalmacio Semeno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeledon Oriche's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. 0-1 became the score in the 78th minute when Marcos Ebardo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Club Cordoba Capital's Hilario Rivas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Ebardo in the 81st minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Silvio Rodriguez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artemio Dei couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Carolina walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
