After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Veletas's zone, Serafino Semeno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Ted came out of the goal and Serafino Semeno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Atilano Fertus fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stegmann's protests and gave Atilano Fertus a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sportivo Veletas booed when Stegmann was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Fertus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serafino Semeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Ted having to interfere. Eustacio Bernat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Emeterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the game, Denis Ceandro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sportivo Veletas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stegmann the free kick. In the 17th minute, Denis Ceandro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonardo Macerio kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Pedro Paez hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. If Serafino Semeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute Lisandro Inocente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Ted saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Inocente in the 29th minute of play forced Sportivo Veletas's goalkeeper Enzo Ted to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Serafino Semeno recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Enzo Ted. Serafino Semeno showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Stegmann's Lino Marcones got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Eutropio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Enzo Ted showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafino Semeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Julian Benitez's late challenge caught a Sportivo Veletas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Benitez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, Stegmann was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Benitez to maneuver through the defense. After 81 minutes of play Stegmann's Atilano Fertus was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 82nd minute, Atilano Fertus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blas Emeterio came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eustacio Bernat could save by the left post. The supporters of Sportivo Veletas booed when Stegmann was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Mendez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustacio Bernat made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Blas Emeterio sent off a good shot on target. Many of Sportivo Veletas's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Sportivo Veletas may have spent more time on the ball, but Stegmann were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
