The Royman FC fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Royman FC's Camilo Azevedo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 18th minute Camilo Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Ekialde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Basilio Sanson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ovidio Ishmael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camilo Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Royman FC's Ovidio Ishmael got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Piñalitos AFC's Ulises Ekialde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Piñalitos AFC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Piñalitos AFC booed when Royman FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Ishmael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Royman FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camilo Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Apolo Argider's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulises Ekialde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Piñalitos AFC's Ulises Ekialde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Sanson in the 82nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camilo Azevedo got free with Ulises Ekialde in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Piñalitos AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Camilo Azevedo scored to the left of an out of position Ulises Ekialde, making the score, 1-4.
