The crowd rose to their feet as Santo FC's Benigno Remir slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Domingo Perez. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. Eustacio Benitez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Palos, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Ramiro Cordearo kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Concoran AFC's Gervasio Gabon got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the game, Ciriaco Chuan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Concoran AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santo FC the free kick. After 15 played minutes Concoran AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Chuan. Concoran AFC's Domingo Perez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Concoran AFC from getting a goal against them. Ricardo Suero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Benitez having to interfere. When Concoran AFC's Gervasio Gabon in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santo FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ramiro Cordearo's late challenge caught a Concoran AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramiro Cordearo helped the player get up and apologised. Domingo Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Remir in the 32nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Ricardo Suero put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Eustacio Benitez. When Gervasio Gabon came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Concoran AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Gabon couldn't finish the play. Eustacio Benitez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Suero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

55 minutes into the match, Santo FC's goalkeeper Eustacio Benitez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Suero. After 56 played minutes Gervasio Gabon rounded Santo FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. 61 minutes into the match, Concoran AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Remir came free, but Domingo Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Concoran AFC booed when Santo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Quintana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Concoran AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Angelo Lopez in the 67th minute. It was a well-played corner which Gavino Bernaldo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Gervasio Gabon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Sengrat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gervasio Gabon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Suero had several of the Santo FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 78 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Eustacio Benitez as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 83rd minute Santos Palos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Benitez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Santos Palos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Concoran AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Ricardo Suero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Concoran AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Santo FC.
