The supporters of Zavalla booed when Zárate AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Balendin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conrado Urre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Lucila in the 32nd minute of the match. Victorio Sidoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Pablo Nofre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zárate AFC's Conrado Urre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Lucila in the 40th minute of play. After the first half Zavalla were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Raimundo Lucila made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Zavalla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Eutor to maneuver through the defense. Raimundo Lucila scored 0-3 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Conrado Urre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 70 in the game by Raimundo Lucila from a close distance when the talented Conrado Urre managed to make a qualified save. Zárate AFC's players were relieved. In the 72nd minute Natalio Gabirel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Foro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conrado Urre came out of the goal and Victorio Sidoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Raimundo Lucila came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Zavalla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raimundo Lucila couldn't finish the play. Uriel Eleazar's late challenge caught a Zavalla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Uriel Eleazar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st match minute, Zárate AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Eleazar to maneuver through the defense.
