Eleuterio Reno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Urre having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Natalio Gabirel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Uriel Eleazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Tomas Moise tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sarah FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braulio Martxot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Natalio Gabirel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Moise having to interfere. Eleuterio Reno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Urre having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Zárate AFC's Natalio Gabirel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomas Moise made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Natalio Gabirel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Moise having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Uriel Eleazar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zárate AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Uriel Eleazar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomas Moise breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Uriel Eleazar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Sarah FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Sarah FC's Braulio Martxot in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zárate AFC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Uriel Eleazar took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Tomas Moise to make any attempt to save it. Eleuterio Reno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pablo Nofre hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The Zárate AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Zárate AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
