Los Hobbits's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonides Guilabertus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Gabino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Herminio Iaki fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Los Hobbits's protests and gave Herminio Iaki a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to C.A. Los Hobbits getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Herminio Iaki hit a great ball. When Lagash's Jacinto Tadzio in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. Los Hobbits's goalie prevented a goal. Apolo Cordearo charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Leandro Suarez sped through Lagash's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alfonso Gabino. With a little luck, Lagash's Alfonso Gabino got control of the ball when Leandro Suarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Javier Arias hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. When C.A. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Guilabertus in the 40th minute of play forced Lagash's goalkeeper Alfonso Gabino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.A. Los Hobbits's Honorato Rio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Tadzio in the 41st minute of play. Herminio Iaki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfonso Gabino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonides Guilabertus was the one to do the kick off. Alfonso Gabino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Anaya in the 53rd minute of play. Cristian Abalos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Rio having to interfere. Jacinto Tadzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Honorato Rio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Braulio Argider came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Lagash fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braulio Argider couldn't finish the play. If Jacinto Tadzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Los Hobbits's zone, Jacinto Tadzio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorato Rio came out of the goal and Jacinto Tadzio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leandro Suarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C.A. Los Hobbits had won after a very even match.
