Santos de Lucas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Armstrong AFC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Santos de Lucas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! Santos de Lucas's Claudio Theobald pulled a muscle in his leg after 33 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Moises Chesus fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Armstrong AFC's protests and gave Moises Chesus a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th match minute, Armstrong AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Chesus to maneuver through the defense. Santos de Lucas's Iker Boniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Lastur in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Armstrong AFC's Moises Chesus got a free kick in the 41st minute. Robustiano Perutxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Saverio Iban managed to get in a good position for a shot. Armstrong AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Saverio Iban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iker Boniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robustiano Perutxo made a kick off. After some careless play in the Armstrong AFC defense, Robustiano Perutxo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leo Txerran. The Armstrong AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leo Txerran should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd match minute, Armstrong AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Niguel to maneuver through the defense. Teo Iratxo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robustiano Perutxo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Leo Txerran made a huge save. After having played for 71 minutes, Robustiano Perutxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santos de Lucas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robustiano Perutxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute, Robustiano Perutxo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rigoberto Gutierrez kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Saverio Iban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robustiano Perutxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Txerran having to interfere. Amado Lauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute Saverio Iban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Boniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute Jonatan Vergaray suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The Santos de Lucas supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Santos de Lucas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
