When Leonides Guilabertus came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the C.A. Los Hobbits fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Guilabertus couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes in the game, Alonzo Paz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Honorato Rio having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Palomo FC's zone, Leonides Guilabertus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonatan Seme came out of the goal and Leonides Guilabertus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonides Guilabertus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jonatan Seme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ladislao Ixaka took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonatan Seme. Palomo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Palomo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Guilabertus came free, but Jonatan Seme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorato Rio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Guipuzkoa in the 41st minute of the match. Leandro Suarez might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonatan Seme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leandro Suarez ran back to his position shaking his head. Palomo FC's Jonatan Seme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Suarez in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alonzo Paz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonatan Seme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Guilabertus in the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, C.A. Los Hobbits's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Paz came free, but Honorato Rio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palomo FC's Freddy Taurino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Honorato Rio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Leonides Guilabertus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jonatan Seme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Alonzo Paz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Honorato Rio. C.A. Los Hobbits's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alonzo Paz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Roman Gil kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Hernan Noe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Iraunkor in the 84th minute of play forced C.A. Los Hobbits's goalkeeper Honorato Rio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristides Iraunkor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute Alonzo Paz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Rio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonatan Seme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Guilabertus in the 92nd minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of C.A. Los Hobbits:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Palomo FC:s goal. C.A. Los Hobbits's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
