The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damaso Quin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Damaso Quin came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Gardey's Ezequiel Izotz. But to his dismay, Ezequiel Izotz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Virgilio Laurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Damaso Quin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Hipolito Ovando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ezequiel Izotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 minutes of play, monoqueando FC's Gustavo Maldonado made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zacarias Fidele was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gardey's Zacarias Fidele proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Gardey from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Gregorio Balendin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damaso Quin was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Gustavo Maldonado's late challenge caught a Gardey's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustavo Maldonado helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to monoqueando FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Gustavo Maldonado hit a great ball. Ezequiel Izotz took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damaso Quin. Rene Telesforo hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustavo Maldonado was the one to do the kick off. After 50 played minutes Gardey got a freekick which was hit by Rene Telesforo. Zacarias Fidele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Hodei in the 52nd minute of the match. If Ezequiel Izotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind monoqueando FC's goalkeeper Damaso Quin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Damaso Quin was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Gregorio Balendin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gregorio Balendin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Damaso Quin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Laurin, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. When Edgardo Remir fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored monoqueando FC's protests and gave Edgardo Remir a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th minute, Edgardo Remir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind monoqueando FC's goalkeeper Damaso Quin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85th minute, monoqueando FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gregorio Balendin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The monoqueando FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gardey were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
