Leo Txerran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Argider in the 20th minute of the match. Lagash's Alfonso Gabino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Gutierrez in the 28th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Armstrong AFC's zone, Braulio Argider stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Txerran came out of the goal and Braulio Argider tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albino Lastur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Alfonso Gabino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute Braulio Argider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Txerran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Argider in the 40th minute of play forced Armstrong AFC's goalkeeper Leo Txerran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moises Chesus during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Armstrong AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Chesus to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Braulio Argider was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Saverio Iban took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Alfonso Gabino to make any attempt to save it. Rafael Peruxu kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Armstrong AFC's Albino Lastur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfonso Gabino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Armstrong AFC booed when Lagash was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Lore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaspar Licerio's shot from long distance in the 73rd minute was not bad at all, but Lagash's Alfonso Gabino knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Rigoberto Gutierrez's late challenge caught a Lagash's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Gutierrez helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Armstrong AFC's Rigoberto Gutierrez got a free kick in the 76th minute. Lagash's Braulio Argider got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacinto Tadzio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leo Txerran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Argider in the 93rd minute of the match. Braulio Argider fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Txerran having to interfere.
