In the 11th minute, Gardey's Gregorio Balendin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eliseo Silviano. Eliseo Silviano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Ezequiel Izotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Silviano having to interfere. If Ezequiel Izotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gregorio Balendin in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliseo Silviano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gardey's Zacarias Fidele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Mercurio in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Godofredo Phelipe during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute, Godofredo Phelipe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregorio Balendin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Santana made a kick off.
