An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Tulio in the 11th minute of play forced Los Bagres's goalkeeper Sixto Gelmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Camilo Tulio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sixto Gelmiro. Los Bagres's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Camilo Tulio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 19 minutes, Aristides Niva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the bostex and the Los Bagres players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th minute, Aristides Niva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celso Acevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Constantino Norino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albino Conrao struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Constantino Norino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Bagres. Celso Acevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Constantino Norino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Albino Conrao came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Los Bagres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albino Conrao couldn't finish the play. bostex's Constantino Norino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Acevedo in the 41st minute of play. Albino Conrao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Norino having to interfere. Constantino Norino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albino Conrao in the 44th minute. Sixto Gelmiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Tulio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Carolo Cebo fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Bagres's protests and gave Carolo Cebo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th match minute, Los Bagres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carolo Cebo to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celso Acevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pedro Ignazio kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Celso Acevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Constantino Norino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Acevedo in the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Paulino Gomesano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Bagres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave bostex the free kick. In the 67th match minute, Los Bagres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Gomesano to maneuver through the defense. After 74 played minutes Los Bagres got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Poz. In the 78thth minute of the game Albino Conrao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but bostex's Constantino Norino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Los Bagres's Sixto Gelmiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Los Bagres from getting a goal against them. Honorio Elija recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albino Conrao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Albino Conrao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The bostex supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing bostex would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
