Gavino Orlondon came out of the goal and Froilan Emeterio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Emeterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 14th minute of the match Carolo Jurdan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Txilar skillfully saved the ball. Paulo Txilar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Fidensio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the game, Progreso's Daniel Emeterio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Txilar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Tiburcio Janpier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Orlondon having to interfere. Daniel Emeterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 33 in the game by Tiburcio Janpier from a close distance when the talented Gavino Orlondon managed to make a qualified save. Progreso's players were relieved. After 60 minutes of play Islandia F.C.'s Froilan Emeterio was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes into the match, Progreso's Danilo Fidensio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Txilar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Daniel Emeterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But to his dismay, Danilo Fidensio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When Progreso's Daniel Emeterio in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Islandia F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Daniel Emeterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Fidensio scored 0-4 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Txilar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Emeterio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Tiburcio Janpier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Islandia F.C. booed when Progreso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Lope didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Progreso walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
