Spectators: 7280 (Terracing: 5462, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Albano Nazario started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Ruperto Favila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Albano Nazario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodrigo Norino was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Traful's Aristides Maiorga shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 33rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rodrigo Norino but with some difficulty. Abelardo Ruy kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 35 minutes of play, Traful's Guillermo Mosen made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Norino was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Albano Nazario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eustacio Cambranes made a kick off. Rodrigo Norino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Nazario, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. A collision led to Traful getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Albano Nazario hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the match, Centro Austro-Hungaro's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Nazario came free, but Rodrigo Norino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Inocencio Lluis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Traful's supporters rose to their feet, but Inocencio Lluis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Norino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
