Patricio Papo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 19th minute Nicolas Lop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Papo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Roman Lluterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hakuna Matata FC's Segundo Unax proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Hakuna Matata FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Les Polles's zone, Mateo Aurre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Papo came out of the goal and Mateo Aurre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Lop in the 28th minute of play forced Les Polles's goalkeeper Patricio Papo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Papo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Aurre in the 34th minute of play. Roman Lluterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Unax having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Roman Lluterio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Severo Quico charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severo Quico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Les Polles getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Severo Quico hit a great ball. When Damaso Rito fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Les Polles's protests and gave Damaso Rito a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd match minute, Les Polles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Rito to maneuver through the defense. If Mateo Aurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicolas Lop was the one to do the kick off. Segundo Unax came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Les Polles's Roman Lluterio. But to his dismay, Roman Lluterio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 56th minute, Hakuna Matata FC's Nicolas Lop dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. 74 minutes into the game, Mateo Aurre recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Patricio Papo. Mateo Aurre showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Mateo Aurre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Nicolas Lop managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hakuna Matata FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Lop was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Papo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th match minute, Hakuna Matata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Henrico to maneuver through the defense. When Les Polles's Dante Pere in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hakuna Matata FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the final whistle sounded Hakuna Matata FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Les Polles.
