Vinicio Rudolfo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patricio Papo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Miguel Urtzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Pere, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The supporters of Les Polles booed when Anasagasti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Milian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Urtzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roman Lluterio's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Les Polles's Dante Pere got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Roman Lluterio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Urtzi was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Anasagasti were furious when Genaro Astrada was red carded, 29 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Anasagasti:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Les Polles:s goal. The referee gave Les Polles a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Justino Lucila, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Anasagasti's Miguel Urtzi. 1-1. Roman Lluterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dante Pere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Chorche took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Urtzi. Miguel Urtzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesar Rexino to make the kick off. Roman Lluterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Urtzi having to interfere. Ruben Chorche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Urtzi having to interfere. Miguel Urtzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Pere in the 58th minute of the match. Gregorio Milian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Papo having to interfere. Froilan Firmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dante Pere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dante Pere in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Urtzi saved Anasagasti from getting behind. Dante Pere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dante Pere came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Les Polles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dante Pere couldn't finish the play. Froilan Firmo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Cesar Rexino scored 2-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patricio Papo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 86 minutes into the match, Anasagasti's Cesar Rexino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patricio Papo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 88 minutes Les Polles's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Raimundo Nuñez who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Anasagasti's Raimundo Nuñez to fire away a dangerous shot which Patricio Papo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Anasagasti fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! In the 99th match minute, Anasagasti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Nuñez to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Les Polles's Justino Lucila tried to score from far away in the 100th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
