Eugenio Gorosti's late challenge caught a SMITH FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugenio Gorosti helped the player get up and apologised. 17 minutes into the game, Gabriel Mede was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Enredados's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SMITH FC the free kick. Gabriel Mede hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danilo Eleazar got free with Benito Lonzo in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Abecia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Enredados's Blas Ortle slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulo Abecia. That made the score 0-1 after 66 minutes of play. Blas Guter made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Enredados's Joaquin Elixio. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blas Ortle got free with Paulo Abecia in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benito Lonzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Firmo in the 78th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Gabriel Mede cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Paulo Abecia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee felt a red card was in order, 87 minutes into the game, when Sergio Edur put in a rough tackle. Enredados played a much better game than SMITH FC and deserved their victory. The SMITH FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
