The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aristides Maiorga during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Traful! The goalkeeper, Guaberto Rumaldo, was totally fooled by Hakuna Matata FC's Godofredo Poncio, who 74 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hakuna Matata FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
