In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Florida FC's goalkeeper Julio Quintun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Horacio Bernard kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Jacobo Maxin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Julio Quintun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Gabrio in the 20th minute of play forced Real Arroyo Seco's goalkeeper Geronimo Pacorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ezequiel Gabrio to make the kick off. Geronimo Pacorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Gabrio in the 63rd minute of the match. Carmelo Hernando charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carmelo Hernando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 64 played minutes Real Arroyo Seco got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Hernando. The supporters of Florida FC booed when Real Arroyo Seco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Lehoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Gabrio in the 71st minute of play forced Real Arroyo Seco's goalkeeper Geronimo Pacorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ezequiel Gabrio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geronimo Pacorro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. In the 87th match minute, Real Arroyo Seco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Leocadio to maneuver through the defense. If Nicasio Sanduru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Florida FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Real Arroyo Seco.
