In the 13th minute, Pacíficos FC's Honorio Astigar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Braulio Peruxu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorio Astigar in the 17th minute. Eustaquio Urdin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romulo Chago in the 23rd minute of the match. Honorio Astigar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Braulio Peruxu made a huge save. Honorio Astigar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Braulio Peruxu having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Honorio Astigar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pacíficos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorio Astigar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Braulio Peruxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honorio Astigar might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Braulio Peruxu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Honorio Astigar ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Profundidad AFC's zone, Severiano Rosario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Peruxu came out of the goal and Severiano Rosario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 36th play minutes Joaquin Eztebe shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Braulio Peruxu and just under the crossbar into goal. Braulio Peruxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Rocio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Arnaldo Stephen got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Honorio Astigar took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Braulio Peruxu to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The audience was convinced that Isidoro Rocio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Braulio Peruxu was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. After having played for 81 minutes, Isidoro Rocio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pacíficos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Rocio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Rocio in the 84th minute of play forced Profundidad AFC's goalkeeper Braulio Peruxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Profundidad AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Astigar came free, but Braulio Peruxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
