Serafin Olando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jose Peyo's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Jose Peyo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Serafin Olando firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Palomitas AFC's Serafin Olando got control of the ball when Jose Peyo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Florida FC's Julio Quintun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Fanuco in the 16th minute of play. Florida FC's Jose Peyo got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Adrian Soter notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Florida FC's Julio Quintun. Julio Quintun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arsenio Giro during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th minute, Arsenio Giro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 37 played minutes Palomitas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Giro. After 40 minutes Palomitas AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nicanor Tulio who took care of the corner kick. After a defensive mix-up in Florida FC's zone, Adrian Soter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Quintun came out of the goal and Adrian Soter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jose Peyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ezequiel Gabrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Serafin Olando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horacio Fanuco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Florida FC's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Fanuco came free, but Julio Quintun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Palomitas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Peyo came free, but Serafin Olando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Peyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arsenio Giro got his second yellow card in the match during the 72nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Ezequiel Gabrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Serafin Olando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 80 minutes on the clock, Lucas Umea commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 80 minutes into the game, one of Palomitas AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Florida FC a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nicanor Tulio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Palomitas AFC's Serafin Olando. 1-1. The Florida FC fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Florida FC's Ezequiel Gabrio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ezequiel Gabrio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ezequiel Gabrio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafin Olando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 102nd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Florida FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Palomitas AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
