Samuel Erruki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Arnoldo Manilan made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lee Létourneau in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnoldo Manilan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 18 minutes, Lee Létourneau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrio 33's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lee Létourneau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Jurgi in the 21st minute of play forced Barrio 33's goalkeeper Daniel Hernando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Barrio 33 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Bernal to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Hernando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Jurgi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lee Létourneau in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Lee Létourneau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrio 33's supporters rose to their feet, but Lee Létourneau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnoldo Manilan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39thth minute of the game Lee Létourneau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paris Saint-Germain's Arnoldo Manilan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gilberto Mambru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Hernando having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

55 minutes into the game, Siro Ixidor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrio 33's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paris Saint-Germain the free kick. If Gilberto Mambru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Edelmiro Lucila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lee Létourneau took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnoldo Manilan. Arnoldo Manilan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Barrio 33's Edelmiro Lucila managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tobias Nardo in the 75 minute of the game. The supporters of Paris Saint-Germain booed when Barrio 33 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Ixidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnoldo Manilan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lee Létourneau in the 82nd minute of play. After 84 minutes, Joel Bernal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrio 33 and the Paris Saint-Germain players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joel Bernal hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute Lee Létourneau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Manilan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paris Saint-Germain's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
