Real Arroyo Seco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pacíficos FC the free kick. A collision led to Real Arroyo Seco getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Teodosio Fernandez hit a great ball. Geronimo Pacorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Rocio in the 20th minute of play. Armando Lehoi hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute Isidoro Rocio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Pacorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Isidoro Rocio came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Pacíficos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Rocio couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isidoro Rocio made a kick off. Eustaquio Urdin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Sanduru, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Severiano Rosario received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Geronimo Pacorro came out and tried to block the shot, but Severiano Rosario slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 93rd minute. Isidoro Rocio in the 97thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Geronimo Pacorro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
