When Baldomiro Enaut fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Punco!!'s protests and gave Baldomiro Enaut a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Jauretche booed when Punco!! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Enaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Punco!!'s Baldomiro Enaut sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anier Amaya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Jauretche's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Enaut came free, but Anier Amaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Punco!!'s Amado Katia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Punco!! from getting a goal against them. Efrain Txomin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Amado Katia made a huge save. 29 minutes into the game, Saul Egoi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amado Katia. Saul Egoi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Fernando Tercero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Amaya having to interfere. If Baldomiro Enaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute Saul Egoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Katia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Punco!!'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Efrain Txomin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Zacarias Berriotxoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Katia having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Tercero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Justino Martinez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Angelo Olando fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Saul Egoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Katia having to interfere. After 63rd play minutes Efrain Txomin shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Amado Katia and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Baldomiro Enaut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Punco!!'s supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomiro Enaut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anier Amaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 78 played minutes Punco!! got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Abeita. Saul Egoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Amado Katia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Olando hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Saul Egoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jauretche's supporters rose to their feet, but Saul Egoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amado Katia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angelo Olando got his second yellow card in the match during the 92nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Angelo Olando hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Punco!!'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Prospero Ponc was slow to take the kick. During this time Jauretche's players had a chance to rest. Prospero Ponc made a great header on Jauretche's corner, it was just that Punco!!'s Amado Katia managed to reach the ball for a save. Saul Egoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
