Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fernando Tercero started the match with the kick off. If Jorge Milio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Aurinegro Millonario:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Punco!!:s goal. When the match had been going on for 6 minutes, Punco!!'s Ambrosio Mirande got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Fulgencio Guilabertus. Amado Katia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Acosta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurinegro Millonario's Severiano Gelacio got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th match minute, Aurinegro Millonario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Gelacio to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Gaston Garaile got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amado Katia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Gelacio in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Gustavo Acosta notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Punco!!'s Amado Katia. Amado Katia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gustavo Acosta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Amado Katia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurinegro Millonario's Fulgencio Guilabertus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Tercero in the 29th minute of play. Guillermo Leguizamón took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amado Katia. Punco!!'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 47 minutes, Gaston Garaile mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aurinegro Millonario and the Punco!! players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gaston Garaile kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severiano Gelacio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Punco!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Florian to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Tercero in the 62nd minute of play forced Aurinegro Millonario's goalkeeper Fulgencio Guilabertus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Katia didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 70th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Amado Katia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Acosta in the 76th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Punco!!'s zone, Gustavo Acosta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amado Katia came out of the goal and Gustavo Acosta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 82 minutes, Severiano Gelacio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aurinegro Millonario's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severiano Gelacio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baldomiro Enaut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Fulgencio Guilabertus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Tercero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baldomiro Enaut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Guilabertus having to interfere. If Baldomiro Enaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match was over Aurinegro Millonario could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Punco!! throughout the match.
