Tadeo Oliverio ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, La Consolata 2001's Bernardino Cheche got a free kick in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Frantzes in the 47th minute of play forced La Consolata 2001's goalkeeper Serafino Savion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Tadeo Oliverio dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 74 minutes, Marcelino Elia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Consolata 2001 and the Ciudad de vicente lopez players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elvio Fagildo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Serafino Savion made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ciudad de vicente lopez walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
