Spectators: 7174 (Terracing: 5382, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 142) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fernando Tercero got the match started through his kick off. Baldomiro Enaut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Hernan Perpinya made a huge save. In the 8th minute Fernando Tercero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Perpinya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramon Chabier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Amado Katia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amado Katia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Chabier, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Romero in the 15th minute of play forced Punco!!'s goalkeeper Amado Katia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Tercero couldn't finish the play. If Fernando Tercero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomiro Enaut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alonzo Florian kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The Punco!! players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rumipal were winning 1-2.

After a defensive mix-up in Rumipal's zone, Baldomiro Enaut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernan Perpinya came out of the goal and Baldomiro Enaut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Punco!! booed when Rumipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Theobald didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Rumipal's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Tercero came free, but Hernan Perpinya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Venancio Romero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amado Katia was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Ramon Chabier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venancio Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Katia having to interfere. Hernan Perpinya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Enaut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rumipal eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
