The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saul Egoi in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Ioritz saved Ciudad de vicente lopez from getting behind. Ciudad de vicente lopez's Alfredo Ioritz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Egoi in the 9th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Elvio Fagildo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute, Justo Frantzes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Anier Amaya came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Ciudad de vicente lopez's Elvio Fagildo. But to his dismay, Elvio Fagildo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Elvio Fagildo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciudad de vicente lopez's supporters rose to their feet, but Elvio Fagildo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anier Amaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the match, Jauretche's goalkeeper Anier Amaya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elvio Fagildo. In the 31st minute, Eustaquio Beliran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the game, Saul Egoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alfredo Ioritz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Efrain Txomin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Ioritz having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Saul Egoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saul Egoi was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Egoi in the 54th minute of play forced Ciudad de vicente lopez's goalkeeper Alfredo Ioritz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saul Egoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Ioritz having to interfere. Elvio Fagildo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfredo Ioritz made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Efrain Txomin sent off a good shot on target. Eugenio Arce hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. If Saul Egoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Ciudad de vicente lopez's Alfredo Ioritz got control of the ball when Efrain Txomin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abel Modestio hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Prospero Ponc, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Justo Frantzes struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Anier Amaya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciudad de vicente lopez. If Efrain Txomin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79thth minute of the game Elvio Fagildo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jauretche's Anier Amaya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Efrain Txomin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saul Egoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Alfredo Ioritz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Ciudad de vicente lopez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Modestio to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Zacarias Berriotxoa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Efrain Txomin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Ioritz having to interfere. Alfredo Ioritz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efrain Txomin in the 95th minute. Jauretche's Anier Amaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Fagildo in the 96th minute of play.
