Spectators: 6691 (Terracing: 5016, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 2) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Venancio Romero made the kick off which started today's match. Marcial Blanco's late challenge caught a POTENCIA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hernan Perpinya showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 14thth minute of the game Venancio Romero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but POTENCIA FC's Mauro Celino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Venancio Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Rumipal's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Beltza came free, but Hernan Perpinya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venancio Romero charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Venancio Romero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of POTENCIA FC booed when Rumipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Venancio Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rumipal's supporters rose to their feet, but Venancio Romero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Celino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hernan Perpinya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Etxeberri, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Cesar Beltza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. After 35 minutes of play, Rumipal's Ramon Chabier made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauro Celino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mauro Celino made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Ramon Chabier sent off a good shot on target. Hernan Perpinya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Beltza, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Venancio Etxeberri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Beltza in the 94th minute of play forced Rumipal's goalkeeper Hernan Perpinya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. POTENCIA FC played a much better game than Rumipal and deserved their victory. The Rumipal players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
