With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leo Chico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the match, Flora's Norberto Rutenio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leo Chico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Venancio Leobardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Luganofootball fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The Luganofootball supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Luganofootball would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
