Simon Jon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Rolado in the 4th minute of the match. Evelio Fliz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Venancio Leobardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Simon Jon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Jon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Leobardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Venancio Leobardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simon Jon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Gonzalez in the 17th minute of play forced Luganofootball's goalkeeper Leo Chico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Blas Gonzalez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th minute of the match, Blas Gonzalez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leo Chico saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Luganofootball defense, Evelio Fliz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leo Chico. The Luganofootball fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leo Chico should have stopped the shot. Leo Chico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Gonzalez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Venancio Leobardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luganofootball's supporters rose to their feet, but Venancio Leobardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Jon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Venancio Leobardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Venancio Leobardo was the one to do the kick off. Evelio Fliz hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Teobaldo Rolado struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Simon Jon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luganofootball. After having played for 55 minutes, Venancio Leobardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luganofootball's supporters crossed their fingers, but Venancio Leobardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simon Jon made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Teobaldo Rolado sent off a good shot on target. When Evelio Fliz came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the all-boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evelio Fliz couldn't finish the play. Simon Jon made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Teobaldo Rolado sent off a good shot on target. Simon Jon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Leobardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The supporters of all-boys booed when Luganofootball was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Reyes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacobo Salvator kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. A collision led to all-boys getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Urbano Salvidor hit a great ball. Luganofootball's Teobaldo Rolado got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luganofootball's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
