Domingos Txordon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Rutenio in the 10th minute of play. If Elpidio Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulises Cedro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Iago in the 13th minute of the match. In the 20th match minute, Flora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Mendez to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafael Mendez during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Flora got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Mendez. Rafael Mendez hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Abelardo Marin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Domingos Txordon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulises Cedro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Israel Artaldo came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Matador Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Israel Artaldo couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the game, Domingos Iago cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ulises Cedro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Norberto Rutenio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 47th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The Flora players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Matador Futbol Club were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Domingos Iago to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Abelardo Marin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flora's supporters rose to their feet, but Abelardo Marin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingos Txordon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Domingos Txordon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Marin, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Domingos Txordon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Marin in the 71st minute of the match. Matador Futbol Club's Israel Artaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristo Nesto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ulises Cedro. Flora's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Matador Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domingos Txordon should have stopped the shot. Abelardo Marin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Domingos Txordon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
