An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Mano in the 11th minute of play forced Ciudad Oculta's goalkeeper Ambrosio Quirze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ambrosio Quirze stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cordera Cariga's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ciudad Oculta's goalkeeper Ambrosio Quirze, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Ciudad Oculta defense, Cordera Cariga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ambrosio Quirze. The Ciudad Oculta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ambrosio Quirze should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Cordera Cariga put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ambrosio Quirze. Ambrosio Quirze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordera Cariga in the 28th minute of play. Basilio Quinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeledon Senio hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute Benedicto Flores suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Leopoldo Berenguer fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ciudad Oculta's protests and gave Leopoldo Berenguer a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ciudad Oculta getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Leopoldo Berenguer hit a great ball. After 42 played minutes Ciudad Oculta got a freekick which was hit by Guaberto Hermon. Cordera Cariga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cordera Cariga was the one to do the kick off. Cordera Cariga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Ambrosio Quirze skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Boleslaw Paciuszko came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ciudad Oculta's Leopoldo Berenguer. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Berenguer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 57th minute, Las Brujas 87's Leon Mano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. 59 minutes into the game, Leon Mano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ambrosio Quirze. Leon Mano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. After having played for 63 minutes, Cordera Cariga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Las Brujas 87's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cordera Cariga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 66 played minutes Las Brujas 87 got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Matro. Cordera Cariga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Quirze having to interfere. Mateo Intxixu struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Ambrosio Quirze didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Las Brujas 87. Ambrosio Quirze came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Las Brujas 87's Cordera Cariga. But to his dismay, Cordera Cariga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. In the 81st minute, Las Brujas 87's Leon Mano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ambrosio Quirze. Ambrosio Quirze yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. Ambrosio Quirze made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Cordera Cariga sent off a good shot on target. Basilio Quinton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ambrosio Quirze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Ambrosio Quirze managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Las Brujas 87's Cordera Cariga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Las Brujas 87 booed when Ciudad Oculta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Beltza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Las Brujas 87 played a much better game than Ciudad Oculta and deserved their victory. The Ciudad Oculta players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
