Flora's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Paulino Cibran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Rutenio in the 18th minute of play forced Roman FC's goalkeeper Bonifacio Mendiko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Norberto Rutenio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Mendiko having to interfere. Paulino Cibran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ulises Cedro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Gabriel Costante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roman FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Costante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 41 played minutes Paulino Cibran rounded Flora's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. Bonifacio Mendiko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Marin, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulino Cibran to strike the kick off in the second half. Joel Bladi struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute.
