Sergio Padro was a little too slow when Benjamin Jurdan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. Diego Edur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Lehoi in the 27th minute of the match. Benjamin Jurdan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Sergio Padro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Jurdan in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergio Padro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sergio Padro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin Jurdan's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Bermejo FC's Sergio Padro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Bermejo FC from getting a goal against them. Benedicto Eufemio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Jurdan might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergio Padro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin Jurdan ran back to his position shaking his head. Benedicto Eufemio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sergio Padro came out and tried to block the shot, but Benedicto Eufemio slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Benjamin Jurdan made the kick off in the second half. Sergio Padro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Jurdan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enzo Sandalio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Padro having to interfere. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Bermejo FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Bermejo FC's Sergio Padro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Jurdan in the 66th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Bermejo FC got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Tab. If Benedicto Eufemio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The referee ignored Bermejo FC's protests and gave Mauricio Tab a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute, Mauricio Tab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 minutes, Froilan Casado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lileo and the Bermejo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
