But to his dismay, Agustin Steven quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gogo Jaen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paolo Cresencio in the 11th minute. In the 12thth minute of the game Anibal Ferrer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vilgo's Pascual Ruy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th minute Agustin Steven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Ruy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Ferrer in the 16th minute of play forced Vilgo's goalkeeper Pascual Ruy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gogo Jaen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paolo Cresencio in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Eron in the 19th minute of play forced Borussia's goalkeeper Gogo Jaen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisito Eron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paolo Cresencio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Gogo Jaen made a huge save. In the 29thth minute of the game Anibal Ferrer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vilgo's Pascual Ruy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Vilgo booed when Borussia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Berbiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36thth minute of the game Luisito Eron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borussia's Gogo Jaen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Vilgo's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Ferrer came free, but Pascual Ruy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gogo Jaen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paolo Cresencio went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 45 minutes into the game, Godofredo Palos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vilgo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borussia the free kick. Godofredo Palos hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luisito Eron to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Agustin Steven fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Anibal Ferrer struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Pascual Ruy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia. Vilgo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Agustin Steven 64 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Agustin Steven was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. Borussia's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 78th minute Luisito Eron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Jaen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Vilgo getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Paolo Hever hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Borussia's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Eron came free, but Gogo Jaen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Luisito Eron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Agustin Steven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
