Pascual Ruy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Salvatore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute of the match Alfredo Palos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pascual Ruy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ñupi's Amador Basualdo got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Gogo Salvatore came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Ñupi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gogo Salvatore couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Ñupi defense, Luisito Eron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eulalio Bilintx. The Ñupi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eulalio Bilintx should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Ñupi's zone, Paolo Cresencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eulalio Bilintx came out of the goal and Paolo Cresencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Gogo Salvatore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ñupi's supporters rose to their feet, but Gogo Salvatore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascual Ruy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute, Paolo Cresencio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Luisito Eron came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Vilgo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisito Eron couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute Paolo Cresencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Bilintx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luisito Eron to make the kick off. Paolo Cresencio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 54th playminute. Paolo Cresencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Bilintx having to interfere. Paolo Cresencio struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Eulalio Bilintx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vilgo. Pascual Ruy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Salvatore in the 63rd minute of play. Pascual Ruy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Basualdo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 72nd match minute, Ñupi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Salvatore to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Vilgo's zone, Amador Basualdo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascual Ruy came out of the goal and Amador Basualdo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pascual Ruy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Basualdo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Eulalio Bilintx made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paolo Cresencio in the 80th minute. After a rather tough play, Ñupi's Cleto Ranolfo got a free kick in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the game, Paolo Cresencio lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Eulalio Bilintx. Vilgo's Godofredo Palos got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paolo Cresencio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Eulalio Bilintx made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cleto Ranolfo during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cleto Ranolfo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
