Spectators: 7218 (Terracing: 5415, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Hernando Parrilla's Alfredo Opilano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Victorio Reyes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorio Reyes got free with Eulalio Bilintx in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute, Victorio Reyes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Hernando Parrilla's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Salvatore came free, but Ciriaco Miro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernando Parrilla's Ciriaco Miro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Salvatore in the 17th minute of play. If Victorio Reyes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute Amador Basualdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Miro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victorio Reyes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Eulalio Bilintx skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 28 played minutes Ñupi got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Santxol. In the 29th minute, Severiano Eliazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amador Basualdo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Basualdo in the 38th minute of play forced Hernando Parrilla's goalkeeper Ciriaco Miro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciriaco Miro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Salvatore in the 41st minute of play. When Amador Basualdo came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Ñupi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amador Basualdo couldn't finish the play.

Ñupi were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Hernando Parrilla's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aristides Gasteiz took the corner. Gogo Salvatore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Miro having to interfere. Anacleto Ekialde charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anacleto Ekialde the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ñupi booed when Hernando Parrilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Ekialde didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Ñupi's Aristides Gasteiz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Severiano Eliazar charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severiano Eliazar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Severiano Eliazar kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Gogo Salvatore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ciriaco Miro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Gogo Salvatore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ñupi's supporters rose to their feet, but Gogo Salvatore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciriaco Miro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amador Basualdo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Miro having to interfere. When Gregorio Maiorga fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ñupi's protests and gave Gregorio Maiorga a yellow card for diving instead. Alfredo Opilano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
