Apolo Olo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernan Firmo went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to RACING CLUB getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Vladimiro Herauso hit a great ball. Fulgencio Dolfo struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Apolo Olo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clara. After a defensive mix-up in RACING CLUB's zone, Fulgencio Dolfo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Olo came out of the goal and Fulgencio Dolfo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, RACING CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Dolfo came free, but Apolo Olo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Fulgencio Dolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clara's supporters rose to their feet, but Fulgencio Dolfo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Apolo Olo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. RACING CLUB's Enrique Gagriel got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 28 minutes, Hipolito Pelayo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RACING CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hipolito Pelayo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. RACING CLUB's Apolo Olo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Dolfo in the 30th minute of play. Fernan Firmo might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Apolo Olo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernan Firmo ran back to his position shaking his head. Vladimiro Herauso hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. When Enrique Gagriel came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the RACING CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Gagriel couldn't finish the play. Hugo Kauldi came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by RACING CLUB's Hipolito Pelayo. But to his dismay, Hipolito Pelayo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fulgencio Dolfo to strike the kick off in the second half. If Fulgencio Dolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fulgencio Dolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godfredo Joseph took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hugo Kauldi. Clara's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Clara's zone, Hipolito Pelayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Kauldi came out of the goal and Hipolito Pelayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enrique Gagriel struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Hugo Kauldi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RACING CLUB. Hipolito Pelayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Hugo Kauldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Clara's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Enrique Gagriel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 82nd minute, Ernesto Hotz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 played minutes RACING CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Gagriel. In the 90th match minute, RACING CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Senon to maneuver through the defense. Fulgencio Dolfo took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Apolo Olo. Apolo Olo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Clara's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
